Today in our Shrine we're celebrating the double Feast Day. Solemnity of Our Lady, Help of Christians and Solemnity of Anniversary of the Dedication of our Shrine Church.
During Mass we lit 12 candles on the walls of the church. The candles symbolise the 12 Apostles as they are the pillars of our faith.
We prayed for all the people of good will, who helped us to build the Shrine Church.

God bless you all and may Our Lady, Help of Christians be very gracious to you today and always.

Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy, commonly known as Penrose Park (located in the Southern Highlands, NSW) is a renowned place of veneration of the replica of the Icon of Our Lady of Jasna Góra, known as the Black Madonna.  The Shrine is ministered by the Order of St. Paul the First Hermit known as the Pauline Fathers, who are the custodians of the original Icon of the Black Madonna since for more than 630 years.
