Working Bee - many hands make light work!!!

There will be a working bee on Saturday 24 March from 8am to prepare the Shrine and grounds for the Passion Play on Good Friday and Easter. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8am followed by allocation of jobs that need doing. Please bring along gloves, hats, brooms, rakes, etc. Everyone is welcome and we will find a job that is suitable for you. For more information please speak to Fr Damian.

Good Friday, 30 March (day of fast and abstinence)  

PASSION PLAY - 11am re-enactment of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ (starts at the entrance to the property) - gates close at 10.30am for safety. 

 

3pm: Celebration of the Lord’s Passion

 

Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy, commonly known as Penrose Park (located in the Southern Highlands, NSW) is a renowned place of veneration of the replica of the Icon of Our Lady of Jasna Góra, known as the Black Madonna.  The Shrine is ministered by the Order of St. Paul the First Hermit known as the Pauline Fathers, who are the custodians of the original Icon of the Black Madonna since for more than 630 years.
