Celebrations in our Shrine
We welcome the communities of Our Lady of Anzano and St Addai and Our Lady of Bandel who visit today on their annual pilgrimage.
Our Lady of Anzano is patron of the Italian community from the region of Foggia.
Tradition has it that St Addai was one of the seventy-two Disciples who started his mission after Pentecost in Edessa. St Addai is patron of the Chaldean community.
Our Lady of Bandel is patron of the Anglo-Indian community
Sunday 13 May: Feast of the Ascension, Fatima Day - Mothers Day
Sunday Masses as usual 9am English in the Shrine Church and 10am Polish in the Old Monastery.

Saturday 19 May: Pentecost Vigil: Mass at 6pm followed by light supper (BYO) in the marquee (tea and coffee provided), a battery torchlight Rosary procession to the Grotto, return to the church for adoration, prayers until 10pm.
Sunday 20 May: Pentecost Sunday : Sunday Masses as usual
Thursday 24 May: Our Lady Help of Christians - 11am Mass - The anniversary of the dedication of the Shrine Church of Our Lady of Mercy at “Penrose Park”
