Here are the Announcements from the bulletin for the Solemnity of our Lady of Mercy.
SOLEMNITY OF OUR LADY OF MERCY
The Proper Solemnity of Our Lady of Mercy, the Black Madonna is the 26th August. Due the our Shrine being a Diocescan Shrine, Bishop Peter Ingham, Emeritus Bishop of Wollongong granted the special indult allowing the celebrations of Our Lady to be celebrated on the Sunday closest to the actual Solemnities date. This has also since been endorsed and confirm by Bishop Brian Mascord, current Bishop of Wollongong.
Fr Richard and the community of Penrose Park would like to wish all Pilgrims a very Happy and Blessed Solemnity of Our Lady of Mercy. May the Black Madonna continue to intercede to her Son and may His Blessings be showered upon you all.
